About Kapok

• Kapok is one of the best organic options. It is non-toxic, healthy and safe for you and your family.
• Kapok is a renewable and biodegradable resource, which means it does not contribute to environmental pollution or waste
• The Kapok fibre has a faint natural smell that may be noticeable when you first open the packaging. This does not last if Kapok is aired out. It dissipates with time, just air out under the sun in a dry room or environment.

Care

Put the Kapok or Zabuton under the sun every once in a while to refresh the cushion's Kapok stuffing. Avoid exposing Kapok to humidity or water. If exposed, dry in the sun for as long as it needs, and it will get back to normal.

Washing

To wash outer the casing, remove and hand wash with cold water. To wash the inner casing, remove filling prior to washing. Dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not wet the filling. Do not bleach. If washing instructions are not followed for the fabrics, shrinkage could occur.
