CanadaNow let me preface this by saying I go through mats. Practicing and teaching everyday… eventually I wear a hole in the top and bottom of the mat. It’s inevitable. I’ve always been a cork mat kind of character, and my average lifespan of a mat is 1-3 years depending on the quality. As soon as I got this magic carpet in the mail I knew I had a mat that would last. Super durable, super grippy. I love it. The thickness is great as I’m travelling and the lighter the better. Not gonna lie tho… it pretty much just feels like the floor/ ground but with grip, which is great for me. But if you need some cushion for child's pose or have sensitive knees I’d recommend going a bit thicker. I also sleep on my mat, and my back has felt great sleeping on this one. This mat is now with me in India as I teach YTTs and I’m super stoked on supporting Canadian and supporting sustainability. I’ve been planting the scoria seed to all my students and friends as this is a company I can get behind. Thanks for all the good vibes and for your values as a company.
